Our track record in the renewables sector is widely recognized, bolstered by a seasoned executive team with a collective experience of over 80 years in similar projects and initiatives. Our extensive expertise spans the entire value chain of renewable energy projects, covering crucial aspects such as procurement, project design, investment, construction, financing, operation, and divestment, totalling over 20 gigawatts of experience.

In the realm of Private Equity, we have achieved significant success, boasting more than 15 years of fruitful investments in renewable energy through private equity fund managers including Everwood Capital, WHEB Infrastructure, and GSF Capital. Our portfolio encompasses over €3 billion of capital deployed across more than 100 projects, with a notable concentration of 40 projects in Spain and Italy over the past four years alone. We possess a unique track record, surpassing 2 gigawatts of experience in recent merchant-oriented renewable investments, a rare feat in Europe.

Our dedication to renewable energy extends over two decades, during which we have actively developed solar and wind projects through companies such as WeLink Energy, Circle Energy, and Langley Renewables. Additionally, we have successfully built and managed solar and wind plants for over 15 years through Vector Renewables, the latter company being founded by our Partners and today a recognised leader in the sector.

Javier Guerra

Javier’s career in renewable energy investment dates back to 2006 when he embarked on this path through various Private Equity funds. Across his journey, he has strategically allocated over €1.5 billion in renewable projects spanning six countries.

In 2010, Javier co-founded WHEB Infrastructure, where he served as a pivotal member of the investment committee. In this role, he took charge of investment origination, execution, and adeptly managed and optimized the portfolio. Before this venture, he contributed significantly to the establishment of a €300 million solar energy fund, where his instrumental involvement extended to sourcing, acquiring, constructing, and financing solar PV plants.

Javier’s earlier career included stints in investment banking and strategic consulting, further enriching his multifaceted expertise. He also extends his knowledge and insights to the advisory board of Linse Capital III, a technology venture capital fund headquartered in Palo Alto.

He has participated in the Harvard Business School Executive Education program focused on Private Equity. Moreover, he holds a diploma from IESE Business School’s General Management Program. His academic journey also comprises completing a Grande Ecole program at ESCP Europe in Paris, earning an MSc in Management from CASS Business School in London, and attaining a MA in East Asian Studies.

Eduardo Soria

Eduardo boasts a remarkable track record in the international renewable energy arena, amassing over 15 years of invaluable experience. His career has taken him across the globe, where he played pivotal roles in negotiating, developing, and expanding renewable energy initiatives in countries as diverse as the United States, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Chile, and Spain.

During his tenure at Vector Cuatro, Eduardo served as a partner and spearheaded global business development efforts. His responsibilities encompassed the generation of lucrative commercial opportunities and the strategic expansion into new markets. This role entailed in-depth market intelligence analysis, marketing initiatives, and the formulation of growth strategies that propelled the company’s global presence.

Eduardo’s journey into the renewable energy sector began at the Spanish Institute for Energy Saving and Diversification (IDAE). Subsequently, he founded the Renewable Energy Magazine, demonstrating his visionary approach to the industry. He later transitioned into advisory roles for renewable energy funds in both Italy and Spain, leveraging his extensive expertise. He co-founded Circle Energy in 2017, a leading developer of renewable energy projects in Southern Europe, with a cumulative pipeline in excess of 2 GW between solar PV, hybrid solar/wind, storage and green hydrogen projects.

Since 2018, Eduardo has assumed the role of Operating Partner for Everwood Capital’s IV fund, further solidifying his profound commitment to the renewable energy sector.

Notably, Eduardo possesses a comprehensive educational background, holding a degree in environmental science and an MBA from INSEAD. He has also undergone technical training at MIT.

He speaks English, Spanish, French, and Italian.

Antonio Carrión

Antonio Carrión

Antonio brings an impressive two decades of experience to the renewable energy sector, with a strong focus on engineering, development, and technical asset management. Since 2018, he has held the role of Operating Partner at Everwood Capital’s IV fund.

Previously, Antonio served as the Founder and Director at Vector Cuatro, where his leadership was instrumental in driving the company’s success. He also held the positions of Director of Technical Operations, Transactions, and Business Development. Within these roles, Antonio actively participated in the development, management, and engineering of renewable energy projects, accumulating an impressive international track record exceeding 1.1 GW.

Before his tenure at Vector Cuatro, Antonio was responsible for North American business development and technical affairs at CESA Wind Corporation. In this capacity, he demonstrated his adeptness at leading international projects from both technical and strategic perspectives, culminating in a substantial portfolio totalling 1.4 GW.

In addition, he was one of the founders at Circle Energy in 2017.

Antonio holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from ICAI and speaks English and Spanish.

Mohsen Khairaldin García

Mohsen boasts a decade of extensive experience in the energy infrastructure sector, with a remarkable portfolio of over €1 billion in investments. Between 2018 and 2020, he held the reins of WElink Energy’s strategic investments in renewable energy projects across Africa, the Middle East, and various emerging markets. His role encompassed every aspect from project origination and negotiations to acquisition and the intricate financial structuring of over 500 megawatts, spanning projects at various development stages.

Prior to this, Mohsen played a pivotal role in shaping WElink Energy’s path by establishing a €500 million co-investment platform for a portfolio of renewable energy projects in Portugal and Spain. His accomplishments include the negotiation of what stands as “Europe’s largest corporate solar PV Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).”

Earlier in his career, Mohsen held a position of significant responsibility at Shell, where he directed investments in Oil & Gas projects across diverse markets. This multifaceted background underscores his comprehensive industry knowledge.

Mohsen holds a degree in Politics and Economics from the esteemed London School of Economics, and he furthered his education by obtaining an MBA from London Business School. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Arabic, and French.

Vicente Payá

Vicente Payá

Vicente brings a wealth of experience in renewable solar energy projects, having dedicated several years to the commercial development and expansion of green businesses across both Europe and LATAM.

As a partner at Circle Energy, he spearheaded the development team, achieving an impressive track record of over 600 megawatts developed in Spain. He also served as Head of Origination at Everwood Capital.

Prior to his involvement in the renewable energy sector, Vicente spent four years at PwC, as an international tax manager and contributed to the M&A team’s success. His international experience extends beyond borders, as he has worked in both the UK and Vietnam.

Vicente’s academic background includes a double degree in Business Management and Law from the University of Valencia.
